Q: How do I order roses?
A: Our roses can be ordered by calling Jenny at 937-541-5749 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to high demand please call and reserve roses as soon as possible with a minimum of a 4 week notice. Roses are 3.00 per stem with a 2 dozen minimum for delivery. Rose orders picked up at our farm will be 2.00 per stem. Delivery charges are the following. Directly to Studio- Kentucky (Covington, Fort Thomas-30.00). Downtown Cincinnati 25.00., Downtown Columbus 25.00 , Greater outlying Columbus and Cincinnati 20.00, Want to arrange a single point drop off and share delivery cost with a flower friend? Yes, we can do that! Please call Jenny with special requests to do that. We are not shipping roses at this time.
Q: Can your roses be used in cooking?
A: Yes! We do not use any pesticides on our roses. Our roses have been turned into rose water, rose petal sugar, rose buttercream frosting, and rose petal jam. Some of our varieties are much stronger in fragrance than others making them more suitable to use in recipes. If you're a local food maker contact Jenny to today discuss varieties and schedule a "smelling". Petals can be delivered fresh or dried.
Q: How do I care for the roses?
A: Upon receiving our roses please give them a fresh cut, remove foliage that may be under the water line, and place in a clean container with professional grade floral preservative. Garden roses should be kept in at a refrigerated temp of 38-42 degrees. Rose Girl, ltd is not responsible for roses not stored properly in a cooler.
Q: What do I have to do to have a wholesale account?
A: Effective June 1, 2018 all wholesale customers will be required to fill out a wholesale form. Vendors must have a valid re-sale license.
Q: Do you offer U cut sessions?
A: For 2018, we will not be offering U Cut sessions due to our construction and re-planting.
Q: Do you offer tours?
A: Rose Girl, ltd is located at our private residence. It is not open to the public. Privately scheduled tours for Garden Clubs including Master Gardeners are available and must be scheduled in advance. Please call Jenny for details.
